Allergic Reactions and Common Symptoms

Today there are very often more than one 'substance' or 'allergen' involved in causing reactions such as itching, swelling, sneezing, wheezing, and various other symptoms. It is primarily the immune system, that is affected or weakened by a variety of factors, which may react or give rise to a vast number of complaints, affecting:

  • mouth ulcers

Respiratory Tract:

  • Asthma
  • cough
  • catarrh
  • sinusitis
  • blocked or running nose

Tell-Tale Signs (especially in children) are:
dark circles under eyes, swollen or red around eyes, red ears and/or cheeks, itchy nose/ears/eyes, mood changes or behavioural changes, ‘sudden’ irritability, hyperactivity or withdrawal symptoms, also changes in handwriting or drawing.

These symptoms have been observed and documented by Dr. Doris Rapp, who has made many video clips (available on YouTube)

 Further Associated Symptoms:

  • Headaches & migraine
  • Emotional disturbances
  • depression

  • general ill-health and not feeling well.

However, not all associated symptoms are caused or aggravated by allergies or intolerances.

Any symptom can always point to underlying - serious health problems - in addition to the frequency or severity of any reactions a person may experience. If your symptoms persist, or worsen please consult your doctor.
